It also faced a clash with two magnum opuses Spiderman: No Way Home and Kabir Khan’s ’83, at that time. Despite all this, Allu Arjun’s film remained standstill against all odds and did business of Rs 100 crores+ at the Box Office North and gave Bollywood a run for their money.□

¤The Pooja Ceremony of Pushpa 2 was held on Aug 22, makers had taken to social media to announce this, and along with the announcement, they also announced the commencement of the shooting.

As per the south portals, the shooting kicked off on October 1, 2022. Some media reports also claim that Kajal Aggarwal has been finalized for an item song in the sequel.¤

☆Makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the sequel an unforgettable experience for movie-goers. Recently, it is learnt that Pushpa 2 will be made with a whopping budget of Rs 350 crores.☆

Vijay Sethupathi will be in Pushpa 2 ?

○As per the reports, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen doing the villain’s role in, Pushpa 2 he was last seen in the blockbuster Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, in which his performance as the drug lord is widely praised by the viewers and the critics. The official confirmation is yet awaited on the same. Vijay Sethupathi or Makal Selvan was approached for Part 1 also but the actor couldn’t do so due to date issues.○

○The reports were also suggesting that Rashmika had demanded a hike in her remuneration by 50% from the producers after Pushpa became a blockbuster.

It is being said that all the cast members’ remunerations will be around Rs 200 crore. In the media reports, the production cost is stated as around Rs 150 Cr. As per a report of Bollywood Hungama, Allu Arjun will get Rs 85 crores for part 2, his fees for Part 1 were around Rs 45 Crs, so it is nearly double that of the latter.○

○Allu Arjun will return to the film in the titular role of Pushpa Raj, Fahadh Faasil in the antagonist’s character as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Rashmika Mandanna will play the counterpart lead actress to Allu.

Other actors Sunil (Managalam Srinu) the former Laal Chandan (Red sanders) syndicate leader, Rao Ramesh as MP Bhumireddy Siddappa Naidu ( He made the truce between Srinu and Pushpa again), and Shanmukh (Jakka Reddy) will play the key roles in the upcoming sequel.○

○Earlier director Sukumar, in an interview, intended that he would like to bring the movie before moviegoers by Dec 2022. But due to the delay in shooting, it seems that the film will now hit the theatres in the last leg of 2023.○

○Recent reports suggest that makers are planning to release the 3-minute teaser of Pushpa 2 on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday, April 8. However, it is to be noted that no official announcement is made by the makers yet.○
